Violation of human rights is not a strange matter to the global people. But, you are a human being with the real heart and sympathy solely, you must feel the inhuman acts occurring through the world. Let us discuss on what types of violation are seen. We see most of the people are deprived of basic human necessities. Besides, due to racial discrimination, fundamentalism, communal discrimination, we can see that minority of different countries are facing oppression and suppression.
The worst sufferers are women and children.
Dowry, child labor, child trafficking, early marriage, polygamy, sexual harass, rape, sentence to death are also the violation of human rights. Here I am going to discuss on the violation of human rights with a view to exposing the facts and findings to the conscious people to eliminate the social annoyance.
In third world countries, dowry is considered as a social curse. Being unable to give assets (large some of money motorcycle, television, refrigerator or any kinds of movable/unmovable assets), bridegrooms and their parents torture the brides. Consequently, many brides are compelled to commit suicide. Many brides are killed by their husbands.
Child labor is another social phenomenon which is commonly seen in the third world countries particularly in south Asia. All of the children come from poverty stricken family. They don't get proper food, shelter, treatment, clothes and education. Sometimes, kids are died when they are engaged in life risk works.
Child trafficking from south Asian countries is seen in the daily newspapers. Seeing trafficking news, human rights organizations come forward to aid the victims accordingly. Every year, kids are taken Middle East countries such as UAE, Oman, Katter, Bahrain, Saudi Arab and Sudan illegally from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan.
Early marriage is mostly found in Muslim communities in Asia, Middle East, Africa and Arab countries. As a citizen of Bangladesh, I have seen that lots of underage girls are forced to get married. For example, a 12 years old girl is wedded to a man of 60. As a social and religious custom it is allowed to permit these inhuman acts. In this civilized world, nobody will tolerate these.
Allowing polygamy in a society can bring a lot of miseries. Let me tell a true story of a Muslim woman who was in such a family. Her husband had 4 wives and he got inspiration morally and spiritually by following their prophet Muhammad who also had about 13 wives. However, the woman were deprived of all rights from her husband and she was compelled to do hard job outside home. Every night, being drunk, her husband would come and bit her severely while children were crying seeing the ferocious acts. At one point, the woman couldn't help committing suicide. This is the consequence of polygamous family.
Sexual harassment is also a human rights violation. Millions of girls of adolescences are being harassed or abused all over the world. At day light no one can be identified as a criminal who harass the girl sexually but in darkness man becomes a Hyena. He raped and killed the innocent girl. Thus girls are living without safety as hundreds of Hyenas roam here and there. How will we stop these Hyenas? How can we protect the girls? We must think of it.
Justice delayed, justices denied- this is the words that can make you a clear sense about the violation of human rights. What is the most important is to ensure justice without any delay. The remedy is something that is expected by all though we can't get any suitable remedy to eliminate all sorts of human right violation.
